8 Herbal teas to lower blood sugar level
By stephany On 09/07/2020
WHICH HERBAL TEAS FOR DIABETES?
Here are home remedies that could help in the treatment such as sage, bitter melon, chancapiedra, moringa, and the insulin plant. However, it is important to mention that the use of these plants is not a substitute for the diabetes medicines prescribed by the endocrinologist, or the nutritional recommendations that help control blood glucose.
Before using these medicinal plants to control diabetes and blood glucose, you should consult your treating doctor, because if they are ingested together with the hypoglycemic drug, they could cause a decrease in blood sugar, resulting in symptoms such as weakness, paleness and feeling fainting. In these cases, the doctor usually reduces the dose of medicine to avoid these effects.
Before that, here is an amazing herbal tea from mother nature that can help reduce your sugar level.

The herbal tea for diabetes we propose is made from the perfect combination of African herbs that help reduce sugar level. This herbal tea not only reduces sugar but also helps reduce the risk of cancer development. Hence, this is the best herbal tea for diabetes cure for you if you have diabetes.

What can a diabetic eat
The diet for a person suffering from diabetes is very important to control blood sugar levels, trying to keep it constant and thus avoid both hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. Therefore, it is extremely important that once the disease is diagnosed, the individual goes to a nutritionist for a complete nutritional evaluation and indicates a nutritional plan adapted to their needs. Learn more about the diabetic diet.
Can you eat sweets in diabetes?
You cannot eat sweets in diabetes, since they contain large amounts of sugar, causing the glucose level to rising and diabetes to get out of control, generating the risk of diabetes-related diseases such as blindness, heart problems, kidney problems, and difficulty healing. See a complete list of sugar-rich foods to avoid.
However, if a good diet is carried out and glycemia is controlled, from time to time, you could consume a dessert prepared at home preferably.
What to do to control blood glucose?
To lower blood sugar and control diabetes, it is recommended to consume fiber-rich foods at all meals and should consume at least 25 to 30 g / day. Likewise, foods with low and medium glycemic index should be preferred, this being a value that allows knowing how much food rich in carbohydrates increases blood sugar. See more information in the Food Glycemic Index Table.
Not only is eating important, doing physical activity such as walking or playing sports for 30 to 60 minutes daily, it also helps control blood sugar, because the muscle uses glucose during exercise. It is recommended that before carrying out the activity, the individual take a small snack to avoid hypoglycemia.
In addition to this, it is also important to measure blood sugar daily and take the medications prescribed by the doctor, as well as going to a nutritionist for a personalized evaluation.

Diet to avoid
Arthritis is a general term that includes conditions that share joint pain and inflammation. There are many types of arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and psoriatic arthritis. Typical treatments involve inflammation and pain relievers. Although there is no single diet to follow, it is always advisable to consume anti-inflammatory foods in the diet and limit the foods that can trigger joint pain. These same foods are valid for algodystrophy.
Fried and processed foods
Researchers at the Mount Sinai Faculty of Medicine studying food disease prevention. In their 2009 study, showing that reducing the amount of fried and processed foods can reduce inflammation and help restore the body's natural defenses.
Therefore, reduce the amount of fried and processed food for consumption, such as fried meat and frozen food, and then add more vegetables and fruit to your food.
Food processed at high temperature
Reducing the amount of food cooked at high temperatures in food can potentially help reduce the levels of EFAs (advanced glycation end products) in the blood. The final glycation end product (EGA) is a poison that appears when food is heated, cooked, fried, or pasteurized.
Age can damage certain proteins in the body and the body tries to break down this EFA using cytokines that carry inflammation. Depending on where the EFA occurs, it can cause arthritis or other forms of inflammation.
Processed sugar and carbohydrates
High amounts of sugar in the diet causes increased EFAs, which can cause inflammation. Reduce the consumption of sweets, processed foods, white roast foods, and soda to reduce arthritis pain.
Dairy products
Dairy products can contribute to arthritis pain, due to the type of protein they contain. For some people, this protein can irritate the tissues around their joints. Other people with arthritis have managed to turn to the vegan diet, which contains no animal products. Instead of getting protein from meat and milk, where most protein sources from vegetables, such as spinach, peanut butter, tofu, beans, lentils, and quinoa.
Tobacco and alcohol
Tobacco and alcohol use can cause a number of health problems, some of which can affect the joints. Smokers are at risk for rheumatoid arthritis, while those who drink alcohol have a higher risk of developing gout.
A healthy joint requires a balanced diet, physical activity, and adequate rest, all of which can be compromised by the consumption of alcohol and tobacco. Reduce your consumption of alcohol and tobacco and improve your eating habits through healthy choices, regular exercise, and quality of sleep.
Corn Oil
Many baked foods and snacks contain corn or other oils that contain fatty acids rich in omega-6. While this snack can satisfy your taste buds, it can really trigger inflammation. Several studies have shown that fish oil, which contains omega-3s, can help relieve joint pain in some people. Replacing foods that contain omega-6 fatty acids with alternative healthy and anti-inflammatory omega-3s, such as olive oil, nuts, flax seeds, and pumpkin seeds are the best choices.

Of still mysterious origin, algodystrophy manifests itself following surgical intervention, or after the removal of plaster.
It manifests on a wrist, ankle, shoulder, or knee. Or it occurs after a trauma (within 2 months). The joint is very painful, swollen, inflamed, red and the syndrome often lasts for very long months! In addition to pain, the joint undergoes bone demineralization (osteoporosis).

To avoid dizziness, before starting the journey it is advisable to take two cups of an infusion with slices of grated fresh ginger and a teaspoon of chamomile flowers. The ginger is boiled for 15 minutes on low heat, the chamomile is added and left to stand for five minutes before filtering.
On long trips, it is advisable to carry a thermos with a few more cups of this tea. Chewing a piece of raw ginger root is also helpful, although it is spicy and not for everyone. Another option is to take it as a tincture: 10 drops in half a glass of water before starting the journey.
For other indications, you can also take the infusion (up to three cups a day) or season with the rest of the savory and sweet dishes. To prevent dizziness, sips of the infusion - up to three glasses - are taken throughout the day.

Diet for diabetics: Nature's call
By stephany On 08/07/2020
Diabetes vs Diet
Diabetes is a disorder caused by high blood sugar. Let’s see what types of diabetes exist and what diet to eat if we already suffer from it!
Diabetes Diet primarily depends on the patient's treatment regimen. For people on insulin, this regimen should be more strictly adhered to. If food is delayed after injection, blood sugar levels may fall sharply and lead to hypoglycemia.
As for the person on the tablet therapy, of course, the diet is determined for him, but at this time, for a short time after taking the tablet, for example, a delay of 10-15 minutes will cause hypoglycemia.
A diabetic should have three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks including fruits, vegetables (without bread). The determination of the hours is individual for each person and depends on what kind of treatment he is under, in particular, what dose of insulin he is taking, which tablet he is taking, and so on.
HERBAL TEA FOR DIABETES
The herbal tea for diabetes we propose is made from the perfect combination of African herbs that help reduce sugar level. This herbal tea not only reduces sugar but also helps reduce the risk of cancer development. Hence, this is the best herbal tea for diabetes cure for you if you have diabetes.

There are three types of diabetes (diabetes mellitus): type 1 (occurring in children or adolescence), type 2 (developing in adulthood), and gestational diabetes. This health disorder occurs when the body does not produce enough insulin, a hormone that regulates glucose levels and their entry into cells. Insulin is produced and released into the circulatory system by beta cells in the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas. Before moving on to a diabetic diet, let’s look at the types of disease in more detail:
Different types of diabetes
- The type 1, or juvenile diabetes is a type of autoimmune disease, insulin-producing beta cells of the pancreas, in this case, were destroyed. This type is usually found in children, adolescents, or young adults.
- Type 2 disease is when the body is unable to use insulin or shows resistance to the hormone. Therefore, this type of diabetes is also known as insulin resistance.
- The third type of diabetes in pregnancy can occur at the time. This is usually temporary and goes away after the baby is born. However, it is important to monitor this type of disease so as not to increase the risk during childbirth.

Understand the symptoms:
Many people detect diabetes when it's too late, and this is because they don't understand the signs and symptoms. The initial signs of diabetes include high blood sugars; this requires regular blood checkups.
Change in lifestyle:
Lately, diabetes has been termed as more of a lifestyle disease than something that occurs due to old age. As mentioned before, diabetes occurs due to an affluent lifestyle where the person incurs a sedentary work life, minimal physical exercise, and excessive consumption of processed foods.
For urban folk, it seems that junk food like instant noodles are actually easier to prepare and consume rather than preparing dal and rice. Diabetes is a harrowing disease that can affect the patient and their family as well; this is because it requires strict medication and dietary restrictions.
Both types of diabetes have the same initial symptoms:
Hunger and Lethargy
Your cells need insulin to convert glucose into energy, and if your body doesn't produce enough insulin, or if your body starts fighting the amount of insulin created, then you will feel fatigued because of the lack of energy. This will result in an increase in appetite too.
Urinating often and being thirstier than normal
An average person usually urinates at least two to seven times a day, but a person with diabetes will urinate more than that. This is because your body absorbs glucose when it passes
through the kidneys, but diabetes increases your blood sugar levels, and your kidneys may not be able to process them and bring it back in. This transmits a signal to your body to create more urine, even if the fluid intake is low. As a result, you will have to urinate more often than the average person. Since you're expelling so much fluid from your body, it's normal to feel really thirsty as well.
Itchy skin and dry mouth
Since most of the fluids in your body are being used to make urine, it's obvious that your skin and other organs will begin to feel dehydrated and lose moisture as well. Hence, your mouth will feel dry, and the dry skin will feel itchy.
Blurred vision
The fluctuating fluid levels in your body can affect your eyesight and cause the lenses in your eyes to swell up, change shape, and lose focus as well.
It's essential that you understand the symptoms in the initial stages so that the treatment will be easier and more effective. Also, if you're older than 45, then it's important that you get tested as soon as possible. The earlier you spot the condition, the better because you can avoid any heart trouble, nerve damage, and other health complications.
Other helpful tips for lowering your blood sugar
So much for diabetics eating. In addition, make sure you exercise regularly, take your medications on time so your blood sugar levels remain low, and we can control the symptoms of the disease. As an adjunct treatment, we make the following herbal teas. We wish you good health!
